Achim Klug

Achim Klug, PhD, is a Professor of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and one of the co-founders of PopNeuron. His main research is in cellular and systems neuroscience, particularly auditory neuroscience, and he has published 50+ scientific publications and holds three patents. Many of PopNeuron’s products were inspired by ongoing research in Achim’s laboratory where there was a need for a particular research tool to solve a particular research question, but a suitable tool did not exist. So the lab designed it, usually together with Tim. Once the tool existed, other labs asked how they could get their hands on the same thing. This ultimately led to the start of PopNeuron.
